Love and Venom introduces two of the main characters, Julie Crawford and Wayne Stoneman, who are studying fetish-driven obsessions and criminal behavior with their odd fixations at the FBI academy in Quantico. They team up with Sam Hickock, a Sheriff who lives in an Arizona town named Superstition Mesa who is investigating a mysterious Russian woman, Marina Dubchov. She is an art dealer who is obsessed with snakes and collects their venom for unknown purposes. There begins a tale that is consumed with passion, exotic animals, mysterious deaths and the confusion of love with its complex interactions.
