And while talks in Congress stall, the racially- and gender-diverse Infinite Rainbow Crew prepares to launch and fly their new colony ship to Mars. Unknown to them, rebel, dreamer, Space Force Sergeant "Jax" Jagger and select black crew members plan to seize the vessel for themselves. Their goal-to jet on out of the solar system and found their own planet. But there's trouble-Jax's romantic interest, super-smart biochemist Sharla Brown is along for the ride and wants none of this and the military isn't playing either. If Jax and his crew are to escape, they will have to outrun Space Force's fastest interceptors and once out in the Far Reaches face threats unimaginable. But all of this is worth the gamble. Because if they can't get reparations on Earth, they'll be taking them in space!
