For years taxi/ rideshare drivers have led the list of;" What professions you are most likely to be murdered?"Although there has been a slight decline in the murder rate over the years, unfortunately, taxi/rideshare drivers remain on the deadliest job list, according to the United States Bureau of labor. The Bureau conducted a census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, and the results concluded that about 17 taxi/rideshare drivers are murdered per 100,000 workers. This murder rate almost doubles that of police officers. Taxi/rideshare drivers also have a homicide rate over 20 times that of the average worker.
