Between 1975 and 2020, over 45 years, composer, photographer, writer and architect Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta created a large photo essay with many important musicians from different countries and kinds of music. In 2021 this essay became a book, as a celebration of the musicians all over the world. In the book, which show one hundred photos from the photo essay and has an introduction written by Emanuel Pimenta, we can find great celebrities like John Cage, Ornette Coleman, Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti, Stan Getz, Takehisa Kosugi, Christian Wolff. Fatima Miranda, Tona Scherchen, Phill Niblock and many more. Pimenta has regularly performed his compositions together with some of the greatest musicians of our time, in places like the Lincoln Center in New York City, the Opera Bastille in Paris, la Fenice in Venice and many more. The book is a historical landmark about some of the greatest musicians living in the passage of the 3rd millennium.
