Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Thief is the first collection of stories by Maurice Leblanc recounting the adventures of Arsène Lupin. Containing the first nine stories depicting the character, each was first published in the French magazine Je sais tout, the first on 15 July 1905. The poor and innocent have nothing to fear from him; often they profit from his spontaneous generosity. The rich and powerful, and the detective who tries to spoil his fun, however, must beware.
