Dan Lynch was the videographer for the Dutch band Golden Earring's Millbrook, USA DVD. How that incredible responsibility was bestowed upon him is an interesting story. This book is not a story about Golden Earring, but that of an American fan who had an addiction to the music and ultimately had the experience of a lifetime. In his own words, Dan tells some important and personal parts of his life. He was a kindergarten candy thief, a pencil poker, adventurer, run away, brawler, lifesaver and more. He wasn't a bad kid, but he did do some foolish things on the journey that made up his life. From the early 1960's and beyond, Dan listened to the popular music of the times. He enjoyed a lot of the tunes he was hearing, and had a few bands that he enjoyed above the rest. When his ears tuned to the songs of Golden Earring, he got sucked into a world of enjoyment, frustration and rewards. This is the story of an American Golden Earring fan.
