Hello, fellow Poles. I was inspired to write this book by my grandmother's memory. I wanted to keep our family recipes, stories and legends and history of Poland alive. My great grandparents Eva and John were from Warsaw, Poland. Eva, tragically died in a fire. My great grandfather John moved to the states sometime after that. He remarried and went on to have five beautiful children, one of them being my beloved grandma. When I was a little girl, I used to love to hear my grandma speak in Polish, help her cook her favorite recipes and hear stories about the Old Country. I want the next generation to be able to pass on these recipes and stories to the next because it is important to keep our History alive. In this book you will find recipes, stories, history, Polish words and customs and more.
