This memoir details my experiences with trauma and bipolar disorder, starting with the events that led up to my first hospitalization and leading up to present day. I wrote it not only to unclutter my mind but also in the hopes that someone else out there, whomever they may be, might feel a little less alone. To paraphrase something I recently wrote in sidewalk chalk near my parents' house, we are all but many branches on the same great tree.
