Waylon 'Bert' Drake is a wizard and a moonshiner. Neither pays well, but he gets by doing the occasional odd job or selling a jar. Growing up learning magic, he dreamed of the day he and his wizard buddies would save the world. But his friends all grew up. Bert didn't, and there's not much world to save in the quiet Ozarks.
