After receiving a summoning from an old friend, Malia and Grigour venture into the magical city of Alvia during the time of Annus Novus. However, the cheery celebrations are cut short as a darkness brews beneath the city. The two heroes must take a stand to defend against the dark ancient forces threatening the very survival of humanity. As they hold the world's very future in their hands, they must discern between friend and foe-and if they choose poorly, the world will crumble.
