Nothing is going as Daniel Jantzi planned. After agreeing to be on the Englisch television program, things were supposed to work out perfectly. He was to earn a huge amount of money to pay off family debt so he could return to Hollybrook to marry Sadie. But Daniel can't abide living in a city, and he is sick of compromising his beliefs and customs. Even more troubling, he finds his thoughts not on Sadie, but on another girl-one he barely knows.
