Becoming useful as a Christian is the last book of the 4 books making up the Christian Life Series. Christians are not saved to serve. This will be servitude to pay for our salvation which is free and is obtained by grace through faith in Christ. But this does not also mean that after our salvation, growth and maturity, we should remain idle in the Lord. Rather, Christian service becomes a natural and spontaneous activity for every child of God after his salvation to help fulfil Matthew 28:19-20 which reads: "'Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'
