This study guide prepares you for the FCC Amateur Radio Extra Class license examination. The Extra Class examination is the highest-level examination for an operating license. The guide goes through each of the questions in the license question pool with each chapter covering one of the ten license question areas. For each question, the guide provides the question and the correct answer along with an explanation for the correct answer. Additionally, the guide explains why many of the distraction answers are incorrect. The questions are valid through June 30, 2024. Each chapter starts with relevant background information, tables, and figures to help with understanding the topics in the chapter. Through the questions and answers, you will learn about the regulations governing radio communications, good amateur practice in the operating modes, and some basic math and electronics for radio.
