A cuisine foreseen by the International Award Winning Author Lina Saad, that it is on the brink of extinction. Lina Saad has dedicated more than 8 years to research many of the documented recipes and their uniqueness into the Lebanese Cuisine. Lina Saad showcased the simple life of the Lebanese farmers and their style of eating, insisting that such a life is nearly extinct due to political and economical factors. The author has spent her summer holidays with local Lebanese farmers who boil their wheat in large cauldrons in the fields and make their own burghul. In addition to the many Syrian refugees who are now a major work force in the Lebanon especially helping farmers with their seasonal produce and harvest.
