The war of Kurukshetra forms the most important event in the Hindu epic of Mahabharata. Four whole Parvas are devoted just to describing the war. The play in the book is based on a few of the incidents that happened in the war. The events have been described faithfully, though a few creative liberties have been taken. The poems are glimpses into the hearts of some of the well known characters from the epic. This collection is a must-have for any fan of the epic.
