Brooklyn Revolt Nubia

Nubia's debut collection of poetry, Brooklyn Revolt, explores themes of personal experiences of trauma, love, loss, and growth over three decades of life in Brooklyn. Written at various stages of a clinical social worker's life, it's a testament that we can all use our voice; we can all rise against our own personal challenges; we can all revolt.

All book proceeds are donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Nubia's beloved mother Hope La'Keisha Garvin.
