This book provides the author's memories of what it was like to grow up in a small town in the 1950s and 60s. It is documentation of family history so that children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will know what it was like to be a kid during that era. It is also a demonstration of the author's gratitude to his heavenly Father for the blessed childhood. Just as importantly, this book guides the readers to reflect on God's blessings in their own lives and to be grateful as they peek through the author's window of time to understand why he is grateful for what it was like.
