From kinder-garten-eighth grade, I attended the Gregory School, a k-12 school for students with learning dis-abilities. A couple of years before I had enrolled, Mom had become the head princi-pal. You would think that having your Mom as your principal would be hard on me. Well, you couldn't be more wrong! Having Mom there was awe-some, because I always knew that she was in close proxim-ity to me!Taking a deep breath, I asked, "Mom-my, my sister, best friends, and good friends don't know about my perform-ance, corr-ect?""Corr-ect, sweet sweet." Mom smiled, taking my hand in hers. "That is very correct."
