They leave England not only fleeing from the abuse and torment they suffer but for a much more deadly reason. A long and perilous voyage on a pirate ship is only the beginning for the Gray family. Young Anna Gray will be plunged headlong into the beautiful yet savage American west as her family treks to a relative in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a new beginning.
