In the history of humanity, the Resurrection of Christ is unique. No other person claimed to be God, fulfilled the prophecies that were foretold, radically gave up his life so we could have a relationship with God, then rose again three days later. It is the center of the gospel and the Christian faith. In this challenging season, we want to give you a devotional guide written by our own Missions and Discipleship Coordinator Preston Cave. As you read, think about and pray over the words on the following pages, we pray it brings you closer to Christ. We will be looking at the actions of Jesus during His final week on earth. For the next eight days, we will discover things about Jesus that will prepare our hearts for service to Him. From Christ's Triumphal Entry to the placing of the crown of thorns on His head to His death and Resurrection, Christ showed Himself to be the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. May He also be the King of each of your lives today as well!
