Kairos, 1234 A. D.. A noblewoman from the lineage of the family that leads the country is about to get married. Kaira daydreams of her beloved Ergaleio, a young follower of the Pegasi congregation. 16th Century. The sweet song of a woman entertains the customers of an old inn. Arika lives alone with her old mother, now too tired to work.
