A double barrel story created with a selective sequence of fascinating facts and tantalizing truths. From one barrel comes a Guru-guided-tour of the world around us. A tour to enjoy and appreciate the truth about the facts, and the facts about the truths. With resultant dawn of clarity, comes a smile of self-assurance, even on sad and lost faces. In addition, the clarity helps the reader remember the facts and truths for a long time. It is a GK competition winning formula. Through the other barrel, the story kindles hope, and gives direction to those who keep thinking "I have missed the bus, and I am never going to accomplish anything". Further, the story shows a way to reach the light at the end of the tunnel; particularly to those who have labelled themselves as Nonachievers or Underperformers. At the beginning is the appetizer of random facts, which is in a common format. The appetizer has a twofold aim. On the one hand it stimulates the desire to know more amazing facts and truths, and on the other hand the appetizer brings into focus a reality - "when we know a little; we know, how little we know". This realization brings helplessness and sadness in many. The author places himself as a person in a similar tormented situation; a person having reached an impasse and darkness. The author then discovers a Guru, who enlightens the author with the rationale of the facts and the reality of the truths; and in turn; escorts the author to success; overcoming the impasse, the darkness and the lack of rudder. The story serves as a guide, a] for being well-informed about the facts, the truths and the reality and b] for choosing an easily approachable Guru, who is able to awaken wisdom in you; and lead you, from darkness to light.
