National Accounts at a Glance 2009 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development

National Accounts at a Glance presents information using an "indicator" approach, focusing on cross-country comparisons. The aim is to make national accounts more accessible and informative, while presenting the conceptual underpinning of --and comparability issues inherent in --each of the indicators presented. The book provides economic indicators related to income, expenditure, production, government, and capital. This broad range reflects the richness inherent in the national accounts dataset and encourages users to go beyond the GDP and focus on other important indicators that may better suit their needs. A dynamic link (StatLink) is provided for each table directing the user to a webpage where the corresponding data are available in Excel(R) format.
