My aim with this book is to open topics for discussion about teenagers, and their sometimes conflicted lives as they move from childhood to adulthood. There is a description of a terrible weekend in the first account, and a traumatic few weeks in the second, from which everyone has something to learn. The stories describe some of the conflicts that may arise as teenagers adjust to their lives as young adults, even while torn by feelings of uncertainty and ambivalence.
