New Simple Ways to Solve Equations Einar Ostmyren

In this book I present a new unique formula for quadratic equations, which turned out later to be a rewriting of the p-q-formula. After this rewriting almost all equations could be solved ed by mental calculation and the equations were also solved almost twice as fast by the new formula compared in a test with the p-q-formula. Mental calculation improves the memory and increases mental agility and intelligence. When I discovered that the middle coefficient in a quadratic equation contained all information about its origin, this led to rules, that simplified the solving of all equations. By factorising you can quickly and easily calculate the answer to an equation and also its origin, but the answer shall only be seen as an extra check and support before the equation is solved by a formula. But factorising can be used by solving of third-, fourth- and fifth degree equations and time consuming methods as substitution and polynomial division can then be avoided.
