Baketaton is the youngest son of Queen Nefertiti and King Akhenaton, forgotten by history, because he was struck by eternal damnation. He is the last sovereign of Egypt to have reigned over Akhetaton. Problem of legitimacy. Conflict of authority. The royal power could not survive without an absolute loyalty. Last king of Akhetaton, he was condemned to memorial oblivion for having refused to change his name following the example of Tutankhamen, his half-brother. Forgotten king of the historical memory, he is however the one who allows to better understand the real tragedy of the land of the pharaohs. The clergy of Amun decided to erase all traces of his existence, of his filiation and of his reign. However, a terrible war of succession took place between him and the fanatical partisans of Tutankhamen. As the youngest son of the royal couple, disadvantaged by the right of eldership, he could only claim the throne after the unexpected death of his half-brother, Tutankhamun.
