The driving forces of the agricultural and agri-food sectors are the cereal and dairy industries, canning, oil, mineral water and sugar refining. Agriculture in Algeria remains a central element of the economy. Its development allows to ensure the food security of the population; as it can allow the creation of wealth and employment. This seminar is programmed with the aim of bringing together all the actors active in the agricultural and agri-food sector - scientists, companies, technical institutions and professionals - at the national level so that they can discuss the problems and draw up recommendations that are in line with the reality of the field.
