Indeed, is there a place for women on the political scene in the Democratic Republic of Congo? A fortiori, has the Kongo woman occupied her place within the provincial political institutions? Do women have this political awareness? The present work would clearly like to answer the above questions. Although the subject is focused on the particular situation of women within the political institutions of Central Kongo, the results of this study also apply to the general case of Kongo women within the institutions of the Republic (National Assembly, Senate, etc...).
