Knowledge Assessment of HIV MTCT Amel Ouyahia

The objective of this work is to report the knowledge and attitudes of the health actors involved in the care of HIV-positive pregnant women, in particular gynaecologists, midwives and infectious diseases specialists, to measure the deviations from the national recommendations, to identify the factors related to non-optimal care from the point of view of the risk of transmission and to propose recommendations which can solve these faults. To suggest recommendations to remedy this situation and to allow a multidisciplinary, harmonious and beneficial management of these women in order to reach the objective of "zero" newborns affected by HIV.
