Principles of Pneumothorax Management Mourad Lahmar

Pneumothorax can be traumatic (occurs after a trauma of the thorax fracture of ribs, thoracic shock; pulmonary lesions during an explosion; wound by knife or by bullet, etc; or spontaneous (primary, without precise cause or during a rupture of the bubbles of emphysema in the chronic respiratory insufficiencies, the longiline men). Moreover, the treatment of pneumothorax consists in evacuating the air from the pleural cavity. This is adapted according to its severity and etiology, ranging from simple rest to thoracic drainage.
