Each generation has a mission to contribute to the advancement of science, the modernization of human society and the subsequent improvement of people's living conditions. Such a dynamic approach to the role and place of the generations in history implies courage (...) without any language. It is true that revolutions come at a price, in terms of death and destruction. This is not what will frighten us. For if we do nothing now it would not only be an unbearable and high treason, but we will have contributed to delaying for two millennia a goal so close. We must do something to change things, even if it takes time. We do not want to instantly combat the plague of dirty political regimes, lifelong presidencies as in Cameroon, and recently in Côte d'Ivoire and Guinea Conakry, corrupt elites, unjustly exploitative relations with former metropolises, and plans to convert dictatorial republics into savage monarchies.
