Environmental management of a company with ISO 14001 seal Raphael Mansk

Environmental education applied together with a solid and effective Environmental Management System (EMS) promotes organizational and individual changes. This work aimed to understand how the environmental management practices of a company that has the ISO 14001 seal influences the daily lives of its employees, contributing to the advancement of the use of this methodology in the business environment. The data collection was performed by applying a semi-structured questionnaire with 157 employees of an ISO 14001 certified company. The results found were consistent with the research approaches. The data resulting from the analysis show a greater variation in the results of the averages and standard deviation in the sectors of deposits and quality, however in the application of ANOVA this hypothesis was discarded, the test showed no significant difference. It was possible in this study that the EE, as a tool together with the EMS, collaborates in the process of awareness of employees, promoting conditions to play the role of agents of change in any context and situation, making them possible agents of change in favor of the environment in the communities where they live.
