At present, in the context of the global systemic crisis that has not yet ended, the real judicial protection of the rights of citizens-consumers acquires particular, not only economic, but also social importance. The authors rightly point out that to date there are still problems that have not been fully resolved, and judicial practice is contradictory. In a number of cases, courts have to decide whether a certain category of cases is covered by consumer protection legislation, because there is no exhaustive list of relations, which are covered by consumer protection legislation. In addition, it is not uncommon that commercial organisations, individual entrepreneurs make a lot of effort to ensure that the contracts they conclude are not similar to those regarding which it is known for a fact that the consumer is a party to such a contract.
