Improving the quality of life of young people is a priority of state youth policy. This process is only possible with the interrelated improvement of the quality of life of young people and the development of society. Currently, the implementation of youth policy is dominated by situational structural-functional approach, which does not allow to solve the problem. The characterization and typological analysis of the quality of life of young people show the need for new approaches. The societal-vital approach to youth policy predetermines it as a systemic social technology and contributes to the satisfaction of societal-vital needs and functions of the young generation. The monograph presents the results of research conducted from 2003 to 2010, which can be useful to researchers, specialists in the field of social and youth policy, sociologists, political scientists, teachers and students.
