Burkina Faso has for decades been hosting thousands of refugees of various nationalities, including Malians, on its territory. This book contributes to taking stock of the protection of Malian refugees in Burkina Faso while highlighting the protection challenges and prospects for better protection of these refugees. It is divided into two main parts, one dealing with the legal and institutional framework for protection and the other with the effective implementation of the protection of Malian refugees.
