Social and cultural functions of trade unions in post-industrial society Danat Valizade

In the monograph Valizade D. R. trade unions are considered as a source of tendencies having fundamental importance for dynamics of culture of human society as a whole, and also it is proved that in conditions of postindustrial society functions of trade unions are modified, filled with new content, carried out in other forms in comparison with industrial society. During research interrelation of the basic characteristics of culture in various cultural-historical types of human society and labor relations is shown. The trade union movement is considered as the most important tool of realization of functions of culture of post-industrial society. The main cultural-historical milestones of its development have been defined and the trade union movement as a social institution of culture has been characterized.
