The monograph provides a comprehensive institutional analysis of the Russian state using the tools of various areas of neo-institutional economic theory. The work gives a detailed description of the state with a predominance of contract principles. The author of the monograph substantiates from the economic point of view the complex criterion of attributing the state to the state with a predominance of contract principles and identifies possible types of such a state.
