At the modern ("Bologna") stage of education, the independent work of students is not only the basis of the educational process, but also provides a new quality of final qualification work. In the given work the theoretical and pedagogical bases of professionally directed system organization of independent work of students in which context the diploma work is carried out and protected are revealed.
