Extremism in youth Oksana Besschetnova

In the XXI century mankind faced a new threat - extremism, which is gaining mass and manifests itself on the state, inter-ethnic, inter-religious, cultural and social levels, affecting all segments of the population. Due to psychological and social immaturity, young people are more susceptible to the influence of various ideologies, and therefore, the problem of extremism prevention among young people is very urgent. Youth extremism is an individual and social-group manifestation of extreme, morally and legally insignificant means and ways of life of young people as a special social group and specific category of population. The book presents the results of sociological studies of extremism conducted on the territory of Russia; analyses federal and regional legislation regulating extremist activities; and analyzes the role of state youth policy in solving problems of minors.
