The monograph presents the results of the research into the peculiarities of the development of digital economy in Russia and in the world under conditions of transformation and globalization. The work solved such tasks as studying the theoretical aspects of digital transformation of the economy, analysis of the level of digital technology distribution in the domestic economy, study of foreign experience of digitalization, identification of barriers and prospects for the development of digital economy in Russia and abroad. The SWOT-analysis of the digital economy of the Russian Federation was carried out, recommendations were formulated to improve legal regulation in the process of digitalization of the Russian economy, and prospects for the development of the digital economy in Russia and abroad were identified.
