The subject of the book is the presentation of two important paradigms in production, such as Lean Production and Industry 4.0 and their introduction within the former San Marco Colorificio, now known as San Marco Group (SMG). The intention is to suggest a possible coexistence between Lean Management and Industry 4.0 and to present the advantages that an organization could obtain by including the enabling technologies related to the Industry 4.0 universe within a path of Continuous Improvement in a Lean perspective.
