This systematic neurobiological approach to the study of brain edema study has been carried out using human cortical biopsies taking during neurosurgical treatment, The content of the book summarizes the author experience for more than four decades, and establishes a comparison with experimental brain edema previously published for leading neuroscientist in animal models of brain edema and human brain pathology.
