Presenting difficult-to-understand concepts in the form of poetry, this book allows mathematics to come to life. Interest is heightened; understanding clarified; interdisciplinarity promoted; enthusiasm aroused; and effective revision facilitated. Where possible, most of the poems are deliberately kept as one pagers. Poems with relevant graphics capture those easily forgotten definitions and formulae. They are carefully and purposefully ordered in keeping with the sequence of topics in the current CSEC(R) Mathematics syllabus. Commonly occurring mathematical misconceptions are highlighted to further clarify foundational concepts. Emboldened key terms; an array of different/contrasting colours; and different shapes bordering graphics serve as intellectual stimulants, creating a novel learning space for deeper thinking and comfortable, relaxed learning. Public domain quotations provide food for thought. Using the Creative Commons copyright licenses, relevant shareware graphics from the public domain serve as stimulants for engagement and pleasure. The book concludes with general tips for effective studying; examination preparation; time management; reflection; and overall wellbeing.
