Iranian Drinks
Naiem Ahmadinejad Farsangi
Evidence suggests that the origins of the first drinks and fruit juices in ancient Iran date back to a great king named Jamshid. One of the stories that relates to Jamshid's time says that this king ordered to plant grape trees. He liked the taste of grapes and therefore he ordered the servants to crush the grapes to make juice. After a while, the taste of grape juice juice became bitter and Jamshid thought poison was added to the juice. Some time later, a girl who could not get rid of headaches, decided to commit suicide. She decides to drink "poison juice". Then she fell asleep. People thought she was dead, but the next morning she woke up happy. Based on this, we can say that the main fruit juice in Iran goes back thousands of years, starting from the time when the king Jamshid ruled in Iran.
