Bohemian summer is an engrossing story, where the central character is Charlie Blackmore. It tells of ten-year-old, Charlie's adventures with an egoistic Gypsy Boy, Marco, of their reaction, when witnessing a violent robbery. Things happen thick and fast when Charlie in low profile, meeting up with Marco gets to know of a sequence of events following the mysterious disappearance of George McDonald the storekeeper and the gossip monger Mildred Marsh. A story to ponder over.
