Dr. Kalyan Chakraborti is an young and energetic personality in the domain of Horticulture and has been working on mango for long fifteen years with full devotion and seriousness. This particular venture has instigated in him the specific potentiality for genuine comprehension in grasping the bedrock of orchard diversity in Gangetic West Bengal. He has conducted survey on seedling germplasms, folk varieties, clonal variations, commercial varieties and released hybrids in mango and evaluated them based on botanical and horticultural parameters withal.
