Thirty genera under 14 subfamilies of parasitic braconid wasps wereidentified. Among them 15 genera and 3 subfamilies are the new records from Bangladesh. A Among them, 15 genera, viz., Phaenocarpa Foerster, Aphidius Nees, Ephedrus Haliday, Lysiphleblus Förster, Praon Haliday, Agathis Latreille, Bassus Fabricius, Earinus Wesmael, Blacus Nees, Glyptomorpha Holmgren, Dinocampus Forster, Helcon Nees, Eubazus Nees, Protomicroplitis Ashmead, Rogas Nees. A brief descriptions of 14 Bangladeshi subfamilies and 33 genera are given. An illustrated key to the subfamilies and genera are also presented here for the first time in Bangladesh. A critical discussion on the systematics and phylogenetic aspects ofv the parasitic braconid wasps has also been provided here.
