Spiders from Pantanos De Villa Reserved Zone (Lima, Perú): Diversity and Spatio-temporal Variation of Spider Communities Williams Paredes Munguía

The Pantanos de Villa Reserved Zone is one of the few coastal wetlands protected within the urban area of ??Lima, Peru. The spread of knowledge over flora and fauna has helped develop environmental education plans to improve public awareness about the importance of preserving this wetland. This work summarizes the knowledge of the diversity of spiders through a complete and detailed inventory of species as well as variations of the spider communities caused by climatic influences. This contribution intends to expand the knowledge of Peruvian spiders fauna and hopes to encourage all readers interested in learning more about these fascinating arthropods to understand the importance of these organisms in a wetland ecosystem.
