It is not easy in the 21st century to correctly interpret ancient writings, due to the great disparity between the authors and ourselves in terms of the periods in which they lived, the historical, social, economic, political and cultural circumstances in which they lived and wrote, the style of writing and the cultural expressions acceptable in their time, their world views, etc., all of which are very different from ours today. The most widely read and most widely misinterpreted ancient wring through the ages, up till today, is the Holy Bible. Its misinterpretation has led to disastrous consequences in different parts of the world. This monograph deals largely with modern scientific principles and methods of interpretation of the Bible(84 pages).
