Library Comfort Analysis: Research, Measuring, and Analyzing the Comfort Level Mahdyar Fakhraei Ghazvini

The study of human comfort is dependent to various factors such as the metabolic rate of person's body and the level of comfort creation from the vents systems of the medium the person is spending the time. This project was done in order to define the comfort analysis of persons at the sedentary activity in a public medium and concludes the rate of comfort level of satisfied and dissatisfied persons. The medium was the library building, located in the Solar-Campus of Aachen University of Applied Sciences (FH-Aachen), Jülich, Germany, where the students and staff spend their hours at sedentary activity there. The measurement is done with the measuring stand contains 15 sensors in three levels of hight and the final result of the comfort level has gained. At the end according to the average level of comfort, the optimization suggestions got obtained.
